M/S Victoria

The queen of the Telemark channel

M/S Victoria is the Queen of the Channel itself. D/S Victoria was built in 1882 at Akers Mekaniske Verksted in Oslo. In 1953, the boat was converted into a motor ship and has been the subject of several conversions over the years. D/S "Amtmand Aall" eventually became too old and too small. "Norsjøselskapet" therefore decided to sell the ship and acquire a new one, almost identical to D/S "Nordsjø".
